OR (b) (i) B.A or B.Sc or B.Com Degree of a recognized University and (ii) Higher Diploma in Co-operation (H D C) or Successful completion of the Subordinate Personnel training course conducted by the Co-operative Department or Junior Diploma in Co-operation awarded by the State Co-operative Union, Kerala OR (c) B.Sc (Co-operation and Banking) Degree of the Kerala Agricultural University OR (d) Diploma in Rural Services with Co-operation as Special Subject awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education or B.Com Degree (Bachelor of Co-operation)
awarded by the Gandhigram Rural Institute ( OR (e) In the case of Supervisors/Inspectors/Ministerial Staff Employed in Apex/Regional/Central Co-operative Institutions as well as employees of Primary Co-operative Institution, the following qualifications namely: |

| (i) Pass in SSLC or equivalent (ii) Higher Diploma in Co-operation OR Junior Diploma in Co- operation AND (iii) Minimum service of five years, as supervisor/ Inspector or in any Ministerial Post in Apex/Regional/ Central Co-operative Institutions in the Sate or as Clerk/Secretary or Managers in Primary Co-operative Institutions in the State. (Service Certificate in original should be produced when directed by the Commission). |

| 8 Probation: Every person appointed as Junior Inspector shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. |
||||||
| 9 Test: A Junior Inspector appointed by Direct Recruitment should pass the Account Test (Lower) within the period of probation. |
||||||
| 10 Training: (a) Junior Inspectors (including auditors and Special Inspectors) who have not already undergone training in Co-operation shall successfully undergo the course “Junior Diploma in Co-operation”. |
||||||
| (b) Junior Inspectors (including Auditors and Special Inspectors) who have not already undergone the intermediate officers training shall undergo three months field Training. This includes one month with an extension officer for Co-operation, one month with an auditor of Co-operative Societies and one month in the Office of the Deputy Registrar. Junior Inspectors (including Auditors and Special Inspectors) who have undergone Junior Officer’s Training shall undergo the above field training for one month only with an experienced Inspector. |

| (c) The Training under clause (a) and field Training under clause (b) above, shall be completed within the period of probation. Agreement: A person appointed to the service as Junior Inspector shall before undergoing the course of training, execute an agreement in proper form with two sureties binding himself. (i) to undergo the entire course of the said training and instruction. (ii) to serve in the Co-operative Department for a period of not less than five years after completion of training. (iii) in case he fails to fulfill either of the conditions mentioned in clause (i) and (ii) to refund to the State Government the total amount drawn by him as pay and allowances (excluding Travelling Allowances) during the course of Training. |

| 2. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis subject to the Special Conditions laid down in GO(MS)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completed five (5) years service in the former District. Even if, transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the orders contained in GO(MS)No.4/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government Service, holding the post in one District are restricted from applying for the same post in another District. But they can apply for higher posts. |

| NOTE |
In the case of candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribes and those who belonged to Scheduled Tribes before the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe orders (Amendment) Act, 1976 came into force and who are admitted to Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Course prior to the enforcement of the Act i.e, 27.07.1977, qualification under item (i) will be a pass in Standard VIII. The relaxation will be allowed only in the absence of fully qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates and to the extent necessary for filling up the quota reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates alone. |

| 2. Those who have got registered themselves with other State/Central Nurses and Midwives Council can also apply for selection. But they will have to get themselves registered with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council before joining duty in the post. |

| 3. Physically handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. |

| NOTE |
1. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment (from ST only) during the pendency of the list. |

| 2. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis subject to the Special Conditions laid down in GO(MS)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completed five (5) years service in the former District. Even if, transfer is allowed after five (5) years, it will be subject to the orders contained in GO(MS)No.4/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government Service, holding the post in one District are restricted from applying for the same post in another District. But they can apply for higher posts. |

| 3. Candidates are not eligible to apply for the same post in more than one district and gets selected, his/her selection will be cancelled and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. |

| 4. The name of the district to which appointment is desired should be noted in the relevant column of the application and application should be sent to the concerned district office of the Public Service Commission. |

| 5. Candidates from the Ranked List will be advised for appointment against the Head Quarters vacancies also. |

Should have completed Nineteen (19) years and should not have completed forty (40) years as on 01.01.2004. (No other age relaxation will be allowed) |

| NOTE |
In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years. |

| NOTE |
Persons selected for appointment to the post will be given training for a period of 3 months. They will be given an allowance fixed by Government from time to time during the period of training and will be actually appointed to the post only after the training is over. The period of training shall not count for probation. |
