Note:-  I) If  sufficient number of suitable candidates are not available from the Ministerial Staff, the vacancies reserved for them will be filled up from the Open Market (Direct recruitment) as per G.O (P) No.80/2004/G.Edn. Dated 12/3/2004.

ii) The List selected candidates published by the Commission in respect of this notification shall remains inforce for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new lists after the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list

Degree in Automobiles Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with not less than 60% marks from any one of the Universities  in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

Degree in Automobiles Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with not less than 60% marks from any of the Universities  in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

4.MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS OF RADIO & TELEVISION:

Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics Engineering with not less than 60% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent qualification.

OR

Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with not less than 60% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

M.Sc Degree with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification and a Diploma in ECG from a recognised Institution.

24.COSMETOLOGY AND BEAUTY PARLOUR MANAGEMENT

Post Graduate Degree in any branch with not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification with Certificate (Minimum 1 year duration) in Cosmetoloty and Beauty Parlour Management from a Government recognised Institution.

25.CRESH AND PRE-SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

Degree in M.Sc (Home Science) with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

26.TRAVEL AND TOURISM

Post Graduate Degree in Tourism Management with not less than 50% marks  from any of the Universities in  Kerala or an equivalent qualification

OR

Post Graduation with not less than 50% marks in any branch awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification with a Diploma in Travel and Tourism after completing minimum 1 year course in   Travel and Tourism recognised by the Kerala Government or an equivalent qualification.

27.OFFICE SECRETARYSHIP

i.                     M Com degree with  not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala  with Typewriting (English) Higher and Shorthand (English) Higher from Board of Technical Examinations, Kerala or equivalent.

ii.                   Preference will be given to persons having additional qualification of Diploma in Computer Application.

28.GENERAL INSURANCE

M Com degree with  not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

29.MARKETING AND SALESMANSHIP

M Com degree with  not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala with Diploma  in Marketing Management from a recognised Institution.

OR

MBA with not less thhan 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala  or an equivalent qualification.  Preference will  be given to persons  having additional qualification of Diploma in Computer Application.

OR

Master’s Degree  in Business Administration with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

30.ACCOUNTANCY AND AUDITING

M Com degree with  not less than 50% marks with specialisation in Finance Management awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

31.RECEPTION AND BOOK KEEPING AND COMMUNICATION

M Com degree with  not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification. Preference will be  given to persons having additional qualification of Diploma in Computer Application.

32.BANKING ASSISTANCE

M Com degree with  not less than 50% marks with specialisation in Banking or Finance Management  awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

33.DENTAL TECHNOLOGY

Bachelor in Dental Science with not less than 60% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or qualification recognised as equivalent thereto.

NOTE:

 i.)           In the appointment of Vocational Teacher preference will be given to persons having additional qualification of Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institution.

ii)                   All the educational qualification for teaching posts should be one acquired after a regular course of study from a recognised University in Kerala or its equivalent.

iii)                 Candidates who apply for both the Direct Recruitment and by Transfer Recruitment should submit separate applications.

iv)                 Candidates who apply for ‘By Transfer’ Recruitment will have to darken the relevant bubbles in column 6 of Side ‘A’ of the application and to note “for by Transfer” at the top of the application Side ‘B’.

v)                  The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in the articles 14 to 17 of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules are not applicable to appointment By Transfer method.

vi)                 The applicant should be a regular Ministerial Staff of the Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary Education Subordinate Service.  They should obtain a certificate from the Head of Office showing their service particulars in the form given as Annexure of the Notification and produce the same as and when required by the Commission.

vii)               Persons appointed through Employment Exchange or otherwise and working on temporary/provisional basis are not eligible to apply for the post in response to this notification.

viii)              Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty will be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.

ix)                 The Commission will conduct a common test for the candidates who apply for Direct Recruitment and Recruitment by Transfer.  Separate Ranked Lists will be published for Direct Recruitment and Recruitment by transfer.

Age Limit

:

Should have completed 18 (Eighteen) years and should not have completed Forty  (45) years as on 1-1-2004 with usual relaxations to SC/ST and other Backward Communities (for conditions regarding the age relaxation please see para (2) of the General conditions)

Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see Para (2) of the General conditions under part II of this Notification.  Relaxation of age will be allowed to all provisional employees of the Twenty nine CO-operative Institutions mentioned in G.O (P) No.41/98 dated 9/3/1998 (Whether they continue in service or relieved from service) who have been appointed through the Employment Exchange to the extent of their provisional service provided they possess a minimum service of one year in the provisional employment.  The maximum period of relaxation allowed to such persons will be five years.  One they get appointment to any post.  The candidates who are entitled to the above concession shall note the details thereof in the respective columns of the applications and submit a Certificate (Original obtained from the Head of Office or Head of Department or Appointing Authority of the Co-operative Institutions concerned) when the Commission called for.  The Certificates should contain all the relevant particulars such as the post in which the applicant has/had provisional service, the scale of pay, name of the Co-operative Institution in which he/she has/had worked, the date of commencement of provisional service.  It should also be noted in the Certificate that the applicant is not holding regular appointment under the Co-operative Institution.  The original Certificate thus produced will not be returned to the candidate.
