Training (1) The appointed candidates shall be on pre service training for a period of six months during which they shall be paid the minimum of the scale of pay attached to the post plus usual allowances. In the case of a person who is a already in service and whose pay is more than the minimum of the scale of pay to the post of Group Instructor, he/she shall be allowed to draw the pay and allowances he/she would have drawn but for his/her appointment under these rules. (2) The period of Training shall not be counted for the purposes of probation and seniority. (3) The appointed candidates shall be deputed for Central Training Institute. Training in any one of the Central Training Institutes of India and they shall be eligible for promotion only if they complete the training successfully. Probation On regular appointment after training the person shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
