OR C. B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking Degree of the Kerala Agricultural University.

OR D. Diploma in Rural Services with Co-operation as Special Subject awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education.

8. Training

a.   Junior Inspector (including auditors and Special Inspectors) who have not already undergone training in Co-operation shall successfully undergo the Course “Junior Diploma in Co-operation”.

b.   Junior Inspector (including auditors and Special Inspectors) who have not already undergone the intermediate Officers Training shall undergo three months field training.  This included one month with an Extension Officer for Co-operation, one month with an Auditor of Co-operative Societies and one month in the office of the Deputy Registrar, Junior Inspectors (who have undergone the above field training for one month only with an experienced inspector)

c.   The training under clause (a) and field training under clause (b) above, shall be completed within the period of probation.

  Agreement:             A person appointed to the Service as Junior Inspector shall before undergoing the course of training, execute an agreement in proper form with two sureties binding himself.
  1.      to undergo the entire course of the said training and instruction. 2.      to serve in the Co-operative Department for a period of not less than five years after completion of training. 3.      in case he fails to fulfill either of the conditions mentioned in clause (i) and (ii) to refund to the State Government the total amount drawn by him as pay and allowances (excluding Travelling allowances) during the course of training.

Separate ranked  list will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this  notification.  The ranked lists  thus prepared  and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period  of one year subject to the condition that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of   new lists of  after the expiry  of the  minimum period  of one year  or till the expiry   of three   years    whichever  is earlier. Candidates  will be advised for appointment  against  the  vacancies, if any reported during the currency of the   lists. In case   no candidate  is advised from the ranked  lists till the expiry of the period of three years the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least  one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier.

Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response  to this notification. If applications are sent  contrary to the above  direction, and  if he/she is selected his/her name  will be removed from the ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates should submit applications for this post to the concerned District Officer of the  Commission and should  note the name of that  District against the relevant  column in the application (Side B) and darken the bubble in the OMR sheet (Side A). The address of the District Officers to which applications are to be sent is furnished in Column (10) of the notification.

The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O(MS)No.154/71PD dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in the Revenue District  from the ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS)No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government Service  holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying against for this post, but they can apply to higher  posts when notified.

Note :-

For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years,  please see para (2) of the General conditions under Part II of this notification.

Qualifications :-

1

General :-

          P.D.C or equivalent qualification.

2 Special  :- A.   Pass in General Nursing and Midwifery Course of not less than 3 years.
    B   Certificate of Registration with the Nurse  & Midwives Council of any state in India as Nurse and Midwife in the   case of  women candidates and as Nurse in the case of Male  candidates.

Note :-  1

Those who have passed S.S.L.C or equivalent qualification and those who possess the special qualification as per the old syllabi and undergone the Nursing and Midwives Course of not less than 3 ½  years' duration and possessing the qualification under item (2)B above obtained prior to 25.09.1996, will also be eligible for appointment to the post.

Physically handicapped persons are not eligible to apply for the post. Concessions  to Physically  handicapped  candidates contemplated in para 2 and 5 of the General conditions are not applicable for selection to the post.
