The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported for Special recruitment during the period of currency of the list.

5. Method of appointment

Direct Recruitment From among ST only

Note Application from candidates other than ST will be summarily rejected. Individual communication regarding rejection of their application for the above reason will not be issued

6. Age Limit

Must have completed 18 (Eighteen)years and must not have completed 40 (Forty One) years of age as on 01.01.2008 No other age relaxation will be allowed

Note In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years

7. Qualifications Graduation from a recognized University or its equivalent

Note:- The candidates selected will be given training for six months in various Depots of the Keral a State Handloom Development Corporation Ltd Kannur

Candidates are allowed to submit the application in the conventional application form also.

8. The application can be submitted by on-line facility provided in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission viz.www.keralapsc.orgNo application fee is required. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries /correspondence. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.

The conventional application forms will be available in the Post Offices in the State and offices of the Kerala Public Service Commission. The cost of application form is Rs.10/-(Rupees Ten only). The cost of application form for SC/ST candidates in Kerala State is Rs.5/-(Rupees five only). An information brochure will be supplied with the application form. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling up the form. Documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for.

11. Paragraphs two, three and twenty seven (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3(c) of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Services Rules) are not applicable to this selection.

12. Appointments are made subject to the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.25/94/GAD dated 22.1.94 allowing Special Reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under Sections 3(c) 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958.
