Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancies  and also against the vacancies, if any reported during the currency of the list.  In case no candidate is advised from the Ranked List till the expiry of the period of 3 years of the duration of the Ranked List shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earliest.

The selection is pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis subject to the special conditions laid down in  G.O.(MS)No. 154/71/PD dated 27.5.1971.  A candidate advised for appointment in the Revenue district from the ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she complete 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district.  Even if transfer is allowed after 5  years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district.  Even if transfer is allowed  after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS) No.4/61/PD dated 2-1-1961.  Candidates already in government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post.

In respect of elimination test which will be one among the parts of selection process for the post question paper for the test will be in Kannada and that the answers also will be in that language.

B

 SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT

Preference will be given as laid down in G.O(MS)No.50/70/PD dated 12.02.70 and G.O(MS)9/78/G.Edn. dated.21.01.78 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications.  Soldiers in active service and those working in Base establishment are included under the terms of Jawans, Wives of Jawans should note on the top of Side B of the application form that they are wives of Jawans. Such candidates should produce proper certificates(True Copies) from the Officer commanding stating the name, Military rank and Military address of their husbands and produce the same as and when required by the Commission

Laboratory Attenders in the Departmental High Schools in the State who have rendered at least five years satisfactory service and who possess the prescribed qualification will be exempted from age limit.  They should produce proper certificates from the Headmaster of the School specifying the date of commencements of their service and the total service put in by them as and when required by the Commission.  The candidates who claim exemption on this basis will not be considered only against vacancies to be filled up by open competition on the basis of merit along (G.O.Ms.315/62/Edn. Dated 14.05.1962)

N.D.S instructors who have put in not less than one year service as N.D.S. Instructors will be given age relaxation to the extent of their service as N.D.S.  Instructor subject to a maximum period of 5 years (G.O.Ms.156/67/Edn. Dated 10.04.67).  They should produce certificates from the authorities concerned, as and when required by the Commission.

First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teacher (G.O.MS.No.122/75/.G.Edn.dated 27.05.75).

Note:-

The candidates who claim concessions in lieu of any of the above reason should state the fact in the relevant column of the Side B and darken the bubble in the OMR sheet Side A of application.  Otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates (For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the General conditions)  Upper age limit after allowing age relaxation as per rule should not exceed 50 years.

A Title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.  In regard to High School Assistant(Languages) in Government Schools, a title of Oriental Learning in the concerned language awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala shall also be accepted in Lieu of Degree if these titles have been declared as equiavalent to Part III of Degree.

Note:-

(1)'Siksha Sastri' Examination of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan and 'Siksha Sastri' Examination of the Kameswar Sing Drbhanga University of Bihar will be treated as equivalent to M.Ed  Degree Examination of the Universities in Kerala for the purpose of appointment as High School Assistants (Sanskrit).

(2) Post Graduate in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided they have B.Ed/BT/LT .

(3)  B.Ed. should also be in the concerned subject.

Sahithyacharya of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in S.S.L.C  Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.

B.TRAINING QUALLIFICATIONS

B.Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala.

OR

Diploma or Certificate of language Teachers Training in Hindi issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.

OR

Diploma in Hindi Teachers training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala

(2)      Persons who have successfully undergone Pracharak Diploma - if Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha  upto and including the Academic Year 1969 -70 shall be considered to possess the requisite training qualification.

(3)      Persons who have successfully undergone  the course in Hindi Teacher Diploma Course of the Regional Hindi Training College, Gandhigram, Madhura during the Academic year 1967-68 or prior to that year shall be considered to possess the requisite training qualification.

(4)      Persons who havesuccessfully undergone tha Acharya Course of the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha upto and including the Academic year 1969-70 shall also be considered to possess the requisite training qualifications.

(5)      Post Graduates in Hinid are also eligible for apply provided they have B.Ed/BT/LT

8.

SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LI.MIT

1.preference will be given as laid down in G.O(MS) No.50/70 dated 12.02.1970 and G.O.(MS)9/78/G.Edn dated 21.01.78 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications.  Soldiers in active service and those working in Base establishement are included under the terms of Jawans, wives of Jawans should note on the top of Side B of the application form that they are wives of Jawans.  Such candidaaates should produce a proper certificates from the Officer Commanding stating the name, Military Rank and Military address of their husbands as and when required by the Commission(G.O.(MS)No509/64/Edn. dated 19.09.1964, (G.O.(MS)N0.614/65.Edn dated 09.11.1965 and G.O(MS)No.243.66/Edn.dated 27.05.1966.)

2.Laboratory attenders in the Departmental High Schools in the State who have rendered at least five years satisfactory service and who possess the prescribed qualification will be exempted from age limit.  They should produce proper certificates from the Headmaster of the School specifying the date of commencement of their service and the total service put in by them as and when required by the Commission.  The candidates who claim exemption on this basis will not be given the benefit of communal reservation and will be considered only against vacancies to be filled up by open competition on the basis of merit.   alone.  (G.O(MS)No.315/62/Edn.dated 14.05.1962)

3.First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers G.O(MS)No.122/75/G.Edn.dated 27.05.1975.

4. Teachers of the Government Primary and Nursery Schools who are graduates and are otherwise qualified will be exempted from upper age limit (G.O.(MS)No.185/70/Edn.dated 18.04.1970 and G.O.MS.No.4166/70/Edn. dated 11.11.1970).  They should produce proper certificates from authorities concerned, as and when required  by the Commisiion.

Note:-

the candidates who claim concessions in lieu of any of the above reason should  state the fact in the relevant column of the Side B ad darken the bubble in the OMR Sheet side A of applications.  Otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates (for other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions).  Upper age limit after allowing age relaxation as per rule should not exceed 50 years.
