The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O(Ms)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.  A candidate advised for appointment in the Revenue District from the ranked list prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district  even if transfer is allowed after 5 years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(Ms)No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961.  Candidates already in Government Service holding this post in  one district are restricted  from applying again for the post in another District.    But they can apply to higher posts.

Candidates are not eligible to apply for the same post in more than one District.  If a candidate applies to more than one District and gets selected, his/her selection will be cancelled and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.

:

Should have completed 18(Eighteen)years and should not have completed 40(Forty)years as on 01.01.2006 (No other age relaxation is allowed.)

Note:-

In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years.  But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50(Fifty) years.

S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification.

Lower grade Certificate in English Typewriting(KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent.

Note:-

Those who have passed the K.G.T.E Typewriting before January  2002 should produce separate certificate in ‘Computer Word Processing or its equivalent’.

Lower Grade Certificate in Malayalam Typewriting(KGTE) or its equivalent qualification.

Lower Grade Certificate in English Shorthand (KGTE) or its equivalent qualification.

.  This application form is a single sheet of paper printed on both sides to facilitate Computer Processing also using the Optical Mark Reader(OMR).  Side ‘A’ is the OMR data sheet and side’B’ is the conventional application form. The candidates must darken the bubbles in Side A and fill up columns in Side ‘B’of the of the application . 

 

Cost of application form is Rs. 10/-(Rupees Ten only).  The cost of application form  for SC/St candidates is Rs.5/- (Rupees five only). The application should be filled up in accordance with the directions contained in the information brochure supplied along with the application form. The application form can be obtained form  various Offices of the Kerala Public Service Commission and from the various Post Offices in Kerala of the Commission and from the various Post Office in Kerala..

                (ii)  a)  Pass in KGTE or MGTE in Machine Works (LOWER)

OR

b)     Certificate issued by the After Care Home in Machine Work.

NOTE:- Persons selected for appointment to the post will be given training for a period of three months. They will be given an allowance fixed by Government from time to time during the period of training and will be actually appointed to the post only after the training is over. The period of training shall not count for probation.
